The Old Alley was knocked down in 1986 and the new Handball complex with two 40x20 alleys built and opened in 1989 on the site of the old alley.A lot of fundraising was organised for this.  There were raffles.  The first year was a raffle for a pony.  The next year, a raffle for two bicycles.  A lot of community effort so that this complex could be built. There was great help from a FAS scheme which allowed this to happen.
