All that remains of the Old Alley at the Garda Station is the Back Wall. The section of cut stone wall which was part of the Alley can clearly be seen as this part is plastered smooth. The Alley would have been knocked down when a new Garda Station was built approx 7 years ago.

All that remains of this alley is the back wall. One photo shows a Latin inscription. The rough stone floor of this area is made from the demolished walls of the old alley. Locals recalled that this alley was demolished approx 40 years ago. There was regret as they recalled the happy times that had been spent here and the claim that it should never have been knocked down.
