The Alley in Castlecreevy has not been use in living memory. Uncle of local man in his late sixties used to talk about the games played there but that would have been at least fifty years ago. Same man told of people from Moycullen crossing River Corrib by boat to in alleys in times gone by. If this is the case this alley could be one of the oldest in the country along with Leagaun in Moycullen which is of a similar type and style.
