I have great memories of playing in Clara Handball Court. Fr. Nolan and Fr. Joe McCluskey were great proponents of the game there. Michael McCarron must be able to write a book on the handball in Clara. We all lost bagful of balls which went over the top of the alleys, over the top of the Hall, across the roadway and into a field never to be found again. Paying a meter to provide the light in an indoor alley is much cheaper.
